Dr. Miranda Y. Pearson, LCMHCS, NCC, BCC, CSOTP, MAC, LCAS-A, BC-TMH is a licensed public school teacher, counselor, administrator, published author, coach and ordained minister. Having been in public education since 1996, Dr. Miranda has taught English, served as a high school counselor, as well as an Assistant Principal Intern and District Administrator. The former Executive Director of Not Just Another Community Center, Inc, is currently CEO/Owner and Clinical Director of Divine Appointment Counseling Services, P.A.

Dr. Miranda earned her B.S. in English from Radford University, in Radford, VA; MA in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary, in Camilla, GA; MSA in School Administration, and an MS in Counselor Education, both from East Carolina University, in Greenville, NC. She also has an earned doctorate in the field of Human Services, at Capella University, with a specialization in Counseling Studies, as well she has completed a specialized certification in Substance Abuse Counseling/Contemporary Theory of Addictive Behavior, also from Capella University.
